Maid Marian now lives in the castle of Nottingham, like Prince John, as decided by King Richard.
Aged 10, Marian shuns from the embroidery, etiquette, and protocol lessons that her tutor, Lady Rohesia, wants to impose on her. She is dead set on avoiding the traditions of her day and becoming an independent woman. Thanks to the secret passage in her bedroom, she can come and go in the forest as she pleases and share adventures with Robin. She heads into the forest at anyexcuse, whether to warn Robin that Prince John is up to something, or just because she’s bored!
Recently, she has started developing supernatural powers that she conceals from those around her, fearing to be called a witch.
She only shares this secret with Robin and his friends. But Basil, the evil son of Nottingham’s Sheriff, saw her cast a spell and is trying to expose her. If he manages to prove she’s a ‘witch’, Maid Marian will surely spend her life behind bars, and her wretchedinfluence on Prince John will be over.
Marian is gradually learning to master her magic powers. But she doesn’t want to wait, she wants to help Robin! She always hopes her spells will be successful although most of the time, the results have nothing todo with what she was aiming at. Head for cover!
